Writers Forum Workshop events for August 2022

Writers Forum Workshop’s events in August 2022:

• In-person workshop on Saturday 13 August. Room MAL 633, 6th floor, Main Building, Birkbeck University of London, Torrington Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1E 7HX. The workshop runs 3pm-5pm. Participants are welcome to arrive from 2.30pm for a chat before the poetry starts. Note that industrial action will affect train services in the UK on the 13th; Transport for London workers are not participating, but other, overground rail services into and within London may be impacted.
• Virtual workshop on Saturday 27 August. Online via Zoom, 3.30pm-5.30pm BST. Note that this will be a week later than is usual for the virtual workshops, which usually take place on the third Saturday of the month.

The July 2022 sessions for Writers Forum Workshop are:

• In-person workshop on Saturday 9 July. Room MAL 633, 6th floor, Main Building, Birkbeck University of London, Torrington Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1E 7HX. The workshop runs 3pm-5pm. Participants are welcome to arrive from 2.30pm for a chat before the poetry starts.
• Virtual workshop on Saturday 16 July. Online via Zoom, 3.30pm-5.30pm BST. As well as the regular workshop, this session will feature a new segment where a participating poet presents work by a writer who has influenced them – this time, Clive Gresswell on Emily Dickinson.

• Virtual workshop on Saturday 18 June. Online via Zoom, 3.30pm-5.30pm BST.
